How to Create A Nursery Colour Palette Inspired by The Handmaids Tale

It’s true I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of season 4 of The Handmaids Tale.
The thought of living in Gilliad turely frightens me but I couldn’t help design this shop the look interiors moodboard inspired by the popular TV series. The thing that I love most about the series is the consistent colour palette.
It’s a great nod to show the greatness of picking a colour palette and the mood that can be created when its repeated throughout a space / house.
Moodboards can help with inspiration for those DIY projects, and you can even design online.

Expert Interior Design tip
If you really love rattan, like REALLY love rattan, you can pick different ‘shades’ of rattan.
The buffet was deliberately chosen as it has a white wash finish. This was to balance out the nursery design and create some difference in the texture.
Notice how the buffet ties in nicely with the pendants
It probably wouldn’t pass in Gilliad, but I love it anyway.
