THE WHY
I’ve always been a massive fan of earthy tones, they calm my busy mind & help to create a sanctuary style space. A subtle splash of texture in the rattan pieces & linen cushions create some interest, and tie back to the pattern on the console. Keeping the colour tones all very similar (i.e hanging out in the same area of the colour wheel) helps to create harmony, and I’ve also selected a nice range of textures & shapes to finish the unique balanced look.
EXPERT TIP
Did you know that by putting in a feather insert into cushion covers you can get the same professional karate chop look (e.g brown french linen cushions). Not only do they look swell but they add the mega comfort factor…. think plush sinky downy cushions :)
